The TOEFL iBT (Test of English Foreign Language Internet-based Test) is a computerized English test with four sections: reading, listening, speaking, and writing.

In the reading section, the test-taker has to read 3-4 passages and answer questions about them.

In the listening section, the test-taker listens to 4-6 lectures and 2-3 conversations and answer questions about them.

The speaking section requires the test-taker to answer 6 prompts about various topics such as campus situations and academic course content.

The writing section consists of two tasks: compare a passage and a lecture, and write an opinion based on a prompt.
